SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 2026

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
EARLY SPRING: TREES WAKE UP (521810B)

Trees begin to "Wake Up" from winter dormancy long before their buds and flowers swell.  But early spring is when you can really see the signs of how trees begin their year.  Tree naturalist Bill Gleason.

SATURDAY,  APR. 25, 2026

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
FLOWERS IN TREES I
(521810C)

While everyone is familiar with the light green hues of trees in early Spring, we take a closer look at the flowers and emerging leaves that are  responsible for the change. It seems each species has a different strategy!   Tree naturalist Bill Gleason.

SATURDAY,  MAY 16, 2026
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

FLOWERS IN TREES II (521810D)

Different species begin their Spring rituals at different times.  Red Maples flower & fruit early, other maples take their time. Sourwood waits till late Summer!  So we break up the Flowers-In-Trees tours into two parts each year.   Tree naturalist Bill Gleason.
